Mobile Printing
With our Mobile Print Service, you can use your personal computer or mobile device to print to the library's printer from anywhere. Simply submit documents for printing and come to the library to pay for (10 cents per page), release, and pick up your printing. Use this link: https://www.printeron.net/hapl/central. Printing will be available for 48 hours from the time you send it to the printer.

HAPL provides curbside/lobby pickup at all locations. Call your local library for details.

Holiday Hours
The library and its branches will be open from 9:00 - 5:00 on Wednesday, November 27 and closed on Thursday, November 28 in observance of Thanksgiving. Please note that our South Side branch will be closed both days.
80’s Party
To celebrate the Luzerne County Library System's 40th anniversary (1984), the library will be hosting an 80's themed party for all ages on Wednesday, November 20 from 5:30 - 7:00. There will be games, trivia, button-making, refreshments, music, and more! It will take place in the Community Room and no registration is required. Participants are encouraged to dress and style their hair in 80's fashion for a chance to win prizes. We hope to see you there!
Fall Family Storytime
Children of all ages, along with their parents or caregivers, can join in fun stories and songs every Wednesday from 1:00 - 200. The program will run from October 2 to November 20 and will be held in the Children’s Department. Registration is not required.
Teen Time - Gingerbread House Building Competition
The Hazleton Library will host a gingerbread building competition for kids in grades 6 - 12 on Monday, December 9. Kids will be given all the materials necessary to build their gingerbread houses, which will be displayed at the library for the public to vote on. The winner will receive a prize. Registration is required, and space is limited. Please call starting on December 2 to sign up by calling the Youth Services Department at 570-454-2961.
