Informative Medicare Bingo with Ebert Insurance
The library will be hosting an informative bingo program on Thursday, May 9 from 3:00 - 4:00 in the Community Room. This program is in partnership with Ebert Insurance. All adults are welcome; participants will learn about Medicare A and B during a relaxing game of bingo! Please note that this program is not related to the library’s monthly bingo events. Registrations can be made in person, by phone (570-454-2961) or online via the library’s Facebook page and this website under the calendar tab. Please enter through the Green Street entrance.

Alzheimer’s Disease and Brain Health
The library will be hosting a guest speaker from the Alzheimer's Association on Saturday, June 1 at 1:00. This program is free and all adults are welcome, whether you have a loved one who suffers from Alzheimer's Disease or you are simply curious about this disease and what you can do to reduce your risk. Participants will learn the basics of Alzheimer's Disease, what services and treatments are available, and how they can take action. The program will take place in the library's Community Room, which is accessible through the Green Street entrance. Registrations are required and may be made in person, by phone (570-454-2961), or online via the library's Facebook page or this website under the calendar tab. 

 

Flipping the Script on Negative Thinking (Rescheduled)
Are you tired of all the negativity in your news feed? What if you could "flip" those negative thoughts and get a new outlook on life? The library invites you to join Karen Holcomb, L.S.W. for a discussion on how to process negative thoughts in order to live a happier, healthier life. The program will take place at 1:00 on Saturday, June 15 and all adult patrons are welcome to attend. This program will take place in the library's Community Room, which is accessible through the Green St entrance.
