Bronze Star
Hazleton Area Public Library has achieved its first star in the PA Forward Program. In order to attain this goal, HAPL utilized PA Forward in both marketing and advertising its services. The library integrated PA Forward into its existing displays and signage.

Holiday Cabaret
Hazleton Area Public Library is pleased to present a very special holiday cabaret with classical guitarist, Robert Dopira. His holiday program with Christmas music includes Nutcracker Suite dances and music from Peanuts “Charlie Brown Christmas Carol.” Mr. Dopira won scholarship to the Roman Festival Orchestra in Italy to perform in their summer performance program. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in performance, and completed his Master’s Degree courses. Holiday Cabaret is open free of charge to the general public, but reservations are required. The performance will be held HAPL’s community room (Green Street entrance) at 6pm on Thursday, Nov. 30th.

Christmas Tea
The Hazleton Area Public Library Children’s Department invites you to our annual Holiday Tea. Children ages 2 through kindergarten are invited to join us Wednesday, December 6th at 6PM or Thursday, December 7th at 6PM for holiday stories, songs, fingerplays, refreshments. To help us, we welcome a very special guest. Registration is required, and begins Monday, November 27th. For more information, contact the Children’s Department of the Library at 570-454-2961.
